Dog rules

Central Coast Council's "Guide to being PAWSOME!" booklet states: "When exercising in a public place, keep your dog on a lead and under the control of a competent person." "This means when you are outside your home, including on the footpath, your dog must be on a lead — except in designated dog off-leash exercise areas." The booklet also notes that under the Companion Animals Act 1998, dogs are prohibited from schools, shopping centres, beaches (except in designated areas), food preparation areas, playgrounds and wildlife protection areas. This park is not on Central Coast Council's published off-leash list, so the council's general on-leash rule applies. (Source: Central Coast Council — "Guide to being PAWSOME!" A nice waterfront park at Woy Woy. Parking can be a bit challenging at the park's carpark on weekends due to the large amount of boating activities taking advantage of the two boat ramps but there are large amounts of street parking nearby. Lots of jet skis when the water is calm. A public toilet and fish cleaning benches are available. Lots of rock fishing activities on the Sunday when we visited but no competition against offshore based anglers. The park itself is full of family with kids, taking full advantage of the playground. There are also people with the four legs best friends. There are many waterbirds camping around waiting for returning boats around the clean benches for a free meal: pelicans, ducks etc. I spotted a curious ray in the shallows checking out the rocks probably for crustaceans. An indication of reasonable water quality.

Stunningly beautiful park on the water has free barbecue cooker and picnic tables underneath the trees. Popular with fishermen it has unisex public toilets and is next to a public boat ramp. The local bowling club is next to the large parking area there is even a Sea Scout hall at the water's edge. There is also a lovely walking and cycle path.
