Truman Reserve has a loyal local community who describe it as one of the best dog parks on the Northern Beaches for friendliness. It's a straightforward off-leash space with drinking water, waste bags, and parking. Not the most feature-rich park, but the welcoming atmosphere and responsible owner culture make it work well as an everyday spot.

Dog rules

Good dog park, there's a "waterfall" out the back which is good for something different to sniff. Bit of broken but all good. Has bags, and drink bowl. I'd scan the area if your play soccer there and there's nearly always dogs there so if your not a dog person maybe use the park up the road, it has better play equipment anyway.

In a lovely location. The children's park is well equipped although on our visit the baby swing was in need of repair. One downside was the people exercising their dogs ignored the sign which says "dogs to be kept 10m from the playground" at one time there was 6 dogs alongside the playground fence. Not good !!
