Burleys Castlecove

I recently visited Burley and was very disappointed. Given the cafes Greek heritage, I ordered the gyros expecting something authentic, but it was the worst I’ve had. The lamb was extremely fatty, the bread wasn’t proper pita and there was only a tiny dollop of “tzatziki” that didn’t taste like tzatziki at all. My children ordered the egg and bacon rolls which had barely any bacon in them. On top of that the food was overpriced, took far too long to come out and the overall atmosphere felt hectic rather than relaxed. Unfortunately, not an experience we’d repeat.

The best cafe in Sydney! Everything on the menu is clean, healthy and quality! All quality sourced ingredients leaving you feeling great afterwards - ready to seize the day! I’m very mindful of my food choices so knowing that I can count on Burleys to deliver gives me great peace of mind. Thank you Maria, Thomas and Bill! I wish i could give separate rating to coffee and food. The food was amazing and i really liked it. Taste perfectly delicious. But the coffee, it wasn’t strong enough. If i want to be more professional i would say it was under and didn’t taste good at all. I tried my friends cap and it was sweet and it is because of that reason. When the body of coffee is not strong enough and its under, the milk take over and it taste sweet. In conclusion the food and service was perfect, I didn’t like the coffee.

BEST CAFE IN TOWN— the food was absolutely delicious, beautifully presented, and came out quickly. The staff were friendly and attentive, making the whole experience even better. The café itself is stunning, with a warm, welcoming vibe and plenty of food options to choose from. The coffee was top-notch too — rich, smooth, and perfectly made. Highly recommend if you’re after a quality café experience!

Beautiful and absolutely delicious. Went for lunch with my kids lots of good options and all day brekky on the weekend. There was something for everyone on their menu. Staff were attentive and super friendly. Plenty of indoor dining perfect for larger groups. Had a really good time will come again.
