St Ives Showground offers multiple fenced off-leash areas, allowing dogs to move between spaces depending on crowd levels or comfort. The surrounding bushland adds variety to the environment, making it easy to extend the visit beyond the fenced areas. It works well for both active play and longer, more exploratory outings.

Dog rules

Fenced off-leash dog exercise area. Dogs permitted off-leash at all times within the fenced area. Dogs must be under effective control without a leash. Maximum 4 dogs per person. Keep dogs 10 metres away from playgrounds and food areas. Dog owners must remove all dog faeces — $275 fine applies.
