Woolgoolga Back Beach is an off-leash dog beach with good waves and a relaxed coastal feel. There's drinking water, toilets, parking, and bins. Note that access may be restricted during Little Tern (bird) breeding season — check signage before visiting, as the nesting zone is protected.
Dogs are allowed off-leash at this beach. Dogs must be under direct supervision and control at all times. Note: this beach is subject to restrictions during Little Tern breeding season — when the breeding area is signposted, dogs must remain on a leash at all times. Dog waste must be picked up. A beautiful beach for an early morning swim. Dog friendly which is great for those travelling with dogs. Even some good waves on the day we were there.
This is a great place to walk your dogs. Beautiful beach walk with lots of raucous seagulls

A very pleasant place, with a stunning view and comfortable walking paths from the top of the hill down to the sea. Highly recommended.
