Such a nice cute park!! I was so lucky to get some pictures as always this park ( a rare kind of gem)is always packed with kids!! A garbage bin is there & a tap is there which is drinkable water!!Which is quite handy when kids are thirsty & if some one has forgotten to bring their water bottle. Majority play area is covered, which is so great!! It’s well fenced therefore kids are protected as well. The SAD STORY is there in NO TOILET, which is heart breaking!! Other than that a nice, little, cute , neat & clean park!!Lots of families from near by apartments who has kids tend to come & enjoy at all times!! Not a dog friendly park. Pls bear it in mind this is a small park. The play area is quite small. Thanks🙂🙋♀️
We love this park. I bring my daughter here to play every weekend. If more play equipment can be added, that would be great. The first half of the park has nothing but grass land and three maple trees. I think more trees should be planted at the front, or a fenced dog park would be nice.
👎👎👎Only go there if you want a small broken playground with broken open gates (which are otherwise held together by a stick!) next to a busy road! No Parking No Toilet No Dogs No Exercise No Shelter It used to be a wonderful, welcoming park for cherrrished family moments *beloved pet walks and playtime *free community based accessibility for respected health/exersise professionals to conduct their business and activities. A person could be blessed with the sight of kids activity groups conducting game based exercise classes, next to a kind dog owner safely walking their dog on a LEESH, while supervising their beautiful children in a safe fenced off environment. Next to groups or pairs of adults developing healthy lifestyle choices with their amazing polite professional trainers. In the 8years I have lived in this area this was always a go to community park for a family day out, an exercise run for our beloved pet and a friendly social setting to meet new exercise groups. Honestly the only down side was the lack of a toilet. But sadly now my kids cry because we can not take the dog, they used to safely walk him within the fenced area but now they are not allowed to. They cry because I can not entre the park to push them on the swings. Then they cry because they can no longer enjoy a quick 30min play on the way to the local shops, because I do not always have the time to travel to the other WELCOMING & INCLUSIVE local parks. All because some wingey Karen has gone and ruined the park for the entire local community!!!!! I wish to thank council for making me look like a creep watching my kids from the outside of a fence or force me to waste petrol to go drive to any other local park which are all 10-15mins away from Larry Bolitho Reserve.👎👎👎
The first thing that comes to my mind is that this small park is a perfect place for families and friends to gather and spend quality time together. The park has a nice grass area where you can sit, relax and soak in the beauty of nature. The interactive play equipment is a plus point as it keeps children busy and engaged. The park has an ample amount of seating, which is a great feature for elderly people who might want to take a break while walking. The shade provided by big trees adds to the comfort of visitors, especially during hot summer days. This small park is suitable for all age groups, which is a plus point. Whether you are a teenager, or an elderly person, you can enjoy your time at the park. Moreover, the park is gated, which provides a sense of safety and security to the visitors. The location of the park is also an advantage, as it is situated close to Bunnings and Carlingford village. Visitors can pick up any supplies they need before coming to the park, and easily access other amenities nearby. At last, I would say that if you are looking for a peaceful, safe, and enjoyable outdoor experience for your family and friends, this small park is a great option to consider.
Great playground.. safe and big enough for kids up to year 6.. shaded from sun but not suitable while raining though..swings, slides, monkey bars, climbing and also a good space to run and play "tip" or "hide and seek"..it is located in the center of many buildings.. so u can find kids playing all the time .. so new friends for ur kids! There is a path for scooters or bicycles too..Parking is easy to find.
