Lever Street Reserve is a dog-friendly park in Rosebery where dogs are welcome on lead. You'll find shaded space and BBQs nearby, while Newmarket Hotel is just a short walk away for an easy post-walk drink. Some conditions apply, so it's worth checking the rules before you visit.
Dogs must be on a leash at this park under City of Sydney rules. Off-leash exercise is permitted only in the City of Sydney Off-Leash Parks (see the council's list at cityofsydney.nsw.gov.au/dog-parks-in-sydney).
A bit dingy, feels barren and exposed despite having buildings on 3 sides, but a good amount of shade and space. Lackluster play equipment options by modern standards, and for a park of this size.
Nice quiet park and playground. Bark chip flooring and grass. No shade. No amenities/bathroom. Bbq area and table
Some what of a hidden gem. Mainly used by locals as main access is off a side street. You can access from Botany Rd, but parking might be difficult, you will walk through the grounds of a commercial building to get there. Park has play equipment, seats and plenty of grass area.
Great little park, seems very new. I hope it stays neat and clean like it was today when we visited.
We check council regulations, official sources, and community reviews to verify dog access at every venue. Access may change — always check on-site signage. Something wrong or missing? Submit feedback. How it works.
