My husband and I are quite fond of sparkling Shiraz so we knew we had to do the wine tasting at Peterson House. Lincoln was amazing! As soon as he heard we loved Sparkling Shiraz, he gave us a detailed list to choose from to our liking. He was super friendly and knowledgeable. The view from the outside balcony was so nice. We had a great time and purchased a few bottles to take home with us.
Our experience at Restaurant Cuvée was delightful! Warm welcoming hosts and wonderful setting under the trees looking across the vines. We were treated to a yummy lunch of zucchini flowers, fresh sourdough, lamb rack and rocket salad. Indulgent and great food! Complimented with great bubbles and followed up with a shared dessert of pavlova and exquisite Davidson plum ice cream! Kim was our waiter and she was so lovely. The perfect combination of friendly conversation and professional service. Kim enhanced our experience and was so nice to both of us and our dog, Betty. Highly recommend a long lunch here !!!
We got married here last month and had our small intimate reception in the reasturant and ceremony in the chapel, everthing was amazing and we got so many compliments from our guests 😀
Our lunch experience verged on perfect! The venue is fantastic, the service is awesome, the food is magnificent.👌 Hard to list highlights when it all great, but the mint crusted lamb with pomegranate is definitely memorable and the barramundi was lovely. Very, very enjoyable. 🍾🍷🎉
Unfortunately the Burrata came out split. Check out the photos of the watery mess. The kitchen said it is supposed to be like this. It tasted grainy and had a stench, not smooth and pleasantly creamy. The liquid was not lovely olive oil but an excess of whey, split from rancid solids. It was really gross and we had to extract the other ingredients in order not to be sick. The waiters were polite but obviously had no experience. I observed the kitchen staff who looked like they did not want to be working today. Sorry but this is the worst Hunter Valley restaurant experience ever. Note: the matching sparkling prosecco rose at Peterson House was great, but not enough to sway my negative review, which is just about this particular dish, which was awful.
We check council regulations, official sources, and community reviews to verify dog access at every venue. Access may change — always check on-site signage. Something wrong or missing? Submit feedback. How it works.
