Coila Beach

Easily accessible to beach from path. Limited on road parking but only gets busy during peak season. Can be a steep beach and U patrolled so make sure to swim safely in the surf. Coila lake sit behind the beach so you have a choice of calm water for the little kids.

Lovely beach. The lake isn’t safe for swimming due to the amount of rain but the beach is fine, just be careful of where you step since some owners seem to be incapable of picking up their dogs business. Big plus is the fish!

My number 1 beach in south coast! Good -Not many people! -Public toilet. -Easy to park. -Very clean water. Bad -Rough waves. -May not be safe for young kids but there is safe area which is opposite side of sea. -Nil local supermarket nearby.

Awesome beach on the South Coast that was really showing the power of the waves the day we visited. The sand is very clean. You can view the beach from a shaded pedestrian strip above the beach which would be fine for people on walkers who would like to see the beach even if they are not up to a sandwalk.

Pretty little coastal town, lovely promenade walk next to beach to watch whales breaching whilst heading south and dolphins playing in the surf (October). Very nice coffee shop (tuross boat shed & cafe) right on the water with tasty fish & chips etc etc (and licenced too...)
