Bulwinkle Park is a dog-friendly park in Alstonville. You'll find shaded space and toilets nearby.
There is a small playground here which is passable if you only have one or two kids, anymore than that and there isn't much to do, access is poor and car parking minimal. There is a toilet block here but I find it completely inappropriate for use with children. There is one table with cover. There is a creek along parks edge which is beautiful and peaceful and you may be lucky to spot a turtle or platypus
Well it's aiite, just a park, well that's the initial thought, but then it comes alive with the waterful suttely coarsing down the creek, with the charm of the old trees, bloody tranquil, a picnic basket wouldn't go astray, amenities it has aswell including toilets for both genders, clean suprisingly, also accomadating for the littlies with an upkept playground, oh and an undercover area for those occasions you don't want to have at home as it's much easier and less mess if you will, oh and lastly the cemented walk through from Alstonville to woolongbar is quite the treat so yeah all is good!!!!!
Grew up here for a period of time in my life in Cawley close with a back reserve to Bullwinke loved it. The old pools are heritage & interesting. Miss it alot. I now live in Newcastle.
We check council regulations, official sources, and community reviews to verify dog access at every venue. Access may change — always check on-site signage. Something wrong or missing? Submit feedback. How it works.
