Lovely landscaped parkland surrounding a small lake, with a playground, toilets, tables, playing field, cycle path and drinking fountain
Great new playground for children. It has you standard slides and swings, also a multi-directional nest swing, a spinning rope climb (Christmas tree shape) seats inside the fence for parents and a couple of picnic tables outside as well as a water bubbler. Down the hill accessible by stairs or path is an outdoor exercise equipment area, pull up bars, parallel bars, leg lifts, leg press, chest press and more equipment, all using your own body weight as the resistance. Building a toilet, hopefully finished soon.
Great playground overall and lots of great kids for the little ones to play with (when its not hot outside). When its hot, nobody plays here, because there's very little shade. There's also no toilets (council approved amenities for construction beginning Q4, 2023) nor BBQs, and the water fountain is turned off or not working half the time. There are swings (kids swing, toddlers swing, big round nested rope swing) climbing nets, stumps and logs for agility, paved walkways, two shaded picnic tables, a table tennis table (no balls or paddles of course, bring your own), there's a couple of bins and a water fountain (bubbler, for drinking) which is sometimes functional. The play area is fully fenced in (separate from the bins, picnic and water). Down the stairs, out of line of sight, there's outdoor exercise equipment, but these are falling into disrepair with some stations dismantled.
Great park for the kids.... grown ups can have fun down the hill where there is a fitness park as well. Bring your table tennis along there is a fixed table here. No bbq thou...
