What people say
Lovely quietplace and lots of open space with quite a few powered sites. You will need long lead and hose to connect on some sites. There are offgrid site aswell. Toilet and shower are 5*.
We stayed at the Mudgee Showground camp site only 26 dollars a night in February the toilets are very clean and good condition. The best thing my wife says is that the washing machines are free. Plenty of sites and close to the town. Great place to stay nice and quiet. For the price definitely a 5 star experience. There is also a dump point here for the van waste. Easy to book into as there is a Qr code on a sign as you drive in. Well worth the stop over.
Nice easy going camp ground. Bit more spacious than the normal commercial parks. No bookings here, so first in best dressed. Clean modern toilet block. Dump point. Reasonably priced. One issue is the power and water points can be well over 20 meters from your allocated spot. Hence 4 stars. So you could struggle to hook up. If needed. A short bike (10) or walk (20) into the centre of town. Worth the stay.
Great toilets and showers, grassy camp areas, quiet location and an easy walk to town. I love Mudgee personally a beautiful town itself and lots of things to visit from vineyards to other historic towns well worth the visit. Have done a hot air balloon ride over Mudgee a bucket thing ticked off absolutely brilliant way to start your day.
Yet another great showground for camping in a beautiful history rich town. Lots of lovely grassy sites for a flat $22/night. Lovely new amenities that are clean and have lots of room. Great wineries and old homes to see!
