DiCK's Hotel Balmain

A standard run of mill pub experience. Some Young Henry's beer to steer clear of the usual multinational swill. Beer garden now largely exposed since the previous old worn awning was ripped apart in a storm. Hopefully they will get it replaced. Hot or wet and cold weather ain't great to be there. Food is also standard pub fair. It's a place for a bit of a feed, a drink and a chat. It's a service. Not a destination.

Went here on Easter Monday for a couple of drinks and dinner. Really enjoyed the beer garden and the food was of good quality. Staff were very friendly. Will come back.

We held my sons 21st here last Saturday, we had the upstair room which was perfect - its a great space for 50-100 people but felt like you could have had more. The staff were super helpful and attentive, function food was great, good size portions and very yummy. The beer selection was perfect for the audience too. thank you

Lots of hotels offer roasts but this was Elite. Great size for $25 and everything was perfectly cooked. We went on a Sunday early ish and enjoyed a nice quiet atmosphere which started to get busier around 2pm - will definitely go back...

I really enjoy this pub however there are now lots of rats running around outside - not really pleasant to eat with rats running around and in and out of open drain pipes. Need to get the pesticide team in.
