Lovely quiet pub in the back streets of Balmain where dogs are allowed inside. Staff were friendly and food was delish!
Had lunch yesterday with my two adult daughters The fish and chips were great and the service quick and friendly . One small thing .. we ordered a Baked Banana pudding to share . We were very excited as it sounded amazing! Not amazing .. hard as if over microwaved. We all had one taste and left the rest . A bit disappointing ! Maybe desert is not your thing ?? However everything else was great
We went to a wine makers dinner at The Birchgrove Restaurant upstairs at the pub - a great night, beautiful food with paired wines in a great setting. Excellent chef and it looks like some of the dishes we had are also on the main menu. We haven't been to the restaurant for a long time but will definitely go back. The pub is one of our local favourites too!
Food is very consistent. Steak was good quality, pizzas are so tasty too. They really look after us at this pub. Special mention to Cameron and Lisa who always go over and beyond.
Nice pub. Had the Sunday roast, to much fat on the brisket. But nice flavours
