Authentic and tasty I’m giving this 4 stars based on value for money and good traditional Sri Lankan food. This is not a flash upmarket eatery, but it is a serving up great food. This is the classic ‘ don’t judge a book by its cover’. The interior is a bit ordinary and the lights a bit too bright. The food is really good and it’s BYO no corkage charged! We went with friends and had a lot to eat and the cost was $20 a head. Service good. It also first take away. We walked there as we live Innerwest. Plenty of parking around. Toilets at premises. I’ve been coming here for a while now and it never disappoints. I really value places that offer great portions and authentic taste at a fair price. The meal deals are genius—everything comes in separate containers. Now they only do take aways. Shop has all sorts of Sri Lankan Indian spices aisle for selling. The goat curry is tender and rich, and the vegetable sides are always fresh. It’s a honest business that clearly puts a lot of heart into their food. A true local Sri Lankan gem in Sydney.
Great local SriLankan restaurant. Food is very tasty and great value for money. The staff are also very helpful. Had takeaway last week and have already been back a second time. Beef curry is delicious.
Delicious food, lovely service and nice relaxed ambiance. I really enjoyed our meal at Lankan Curry House. Highly recommend the goat curry! Also if you are craving Pitu (or Putu!) they do take away!
I had a fantastic experience at Lankan Curry House! The variety of dishes displayed at the counter was fresh and vibrant, with a great selection of curries, biryanis, and sides. The Chicken Biryani and Rice and Curry Meal Deal were flavorful, with rich spices and perfectly cooked basmati rice. The mango chutney was a standout and complemented the meals perfectly. The ambiance was cozy and welcoming, with thoughtful decor that gave the space a warm, inviting vibe. The greenery and wooden accents added a nice touch to the overall aesthetic. The cleanliness and organization of the place were also noteworthy. Staff were friendly and attentive, ensuring a pleasant dining experience. It’s a great spot for authentic Sri Lankan, Indian, and Nepalese cuisine. Highly recommended for anyone looking for delicious and affordable meals in a relaxed environment! Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
