We've come here a couple of times now and the food is absolutely divine! Today's stop was breakfast and it was absolutely perfect from the coffee (no sugar needed) to the shakshuka and Turkish eggs; we thoroughly enjoyed our meal. Bonus points for having dog friendly seating outside so you can bring your canine companion along for the journey! We'll see you again soon!
Don't wate your time or money here... I entered & asked if their menu matched the one online. They said yes...so I ordered the food I wanted. Firstly, thinking it was 26$ as was advertised on the menu. Then I got billed 35$. I asked, would it be quick, as I only have 20 minutes until I have to go back to work. They said yes, it would be quick...anyway, 25minutes later my food came after the chef taking forever making me a club sandwich. Note that i was the only person in the restaurant. Made me late for work and also food was very average. Wasn't happy with my experience here at all.
Phenomenal seafood! We ordered the fresh seafood platter for two, and the pieces were so fresh especially the barramundi and the calamari. The prawns and potatoes were delicious! As a starter we ordered the lamb Greek style Bruschetta, and it was delicious too! Would definitely return here to try more of the menu. Many great items plus they do coffee and cocktails too!
Food tastes OK. Fresh ingredients for sure, but a bit bland especially the chicken wings. The portion is relatively small considering the price. The table is sticky and definitely needs a good clean. The service is good though.
Whilst I'm still wondering what "The Eate" means (is it Latin or Spanish or something else?) I was pleasantly surprised by the food. It was delicious and with generous serves. The service was poor - hopefully with the appointment of some skilled wait staff or additional training, their service will improve. You will definitely come for the food. From amazing calamari to the divine chicken and succulent lamb. Very nice. If you are temped by the shaker fries. Don't bother.
