Bustling little deli/shop/cafe with some excellent views over the valley. BYO available - beer and wine - $3 corkage per person. The waitress even pointed out that there is a great bottle shop next door - see leura cellars for excellent beer/wine/spirits. So was able to enjoy some hard to find Polish beer with my lunch. Food was excellent - partner had the chicken and leek pie and I opted for the lasagne. Both very home-made and authentic. Fair portion sizes and a nice side salad. The music is relaxing background jazz and the dining room is cosy and has a great few about it. Staff are friendly, attentive and knowledgable. The chilli and cinnamon hot chocolate lovely on a fresh day such as today. Thanks!
Brilliant Bistro with some fabulous views if you get a window seat.... very warm welcome from the staff. All dishes we ordered were of good size and quality. Well priced also.... My recommendation after enjoying is the grilled halloumi salad 🥗 🥭🥑🍛🥂
Had a great experience, wonderful and friendly service by staff. Cudos to the chef, the food was so delicious and portion size was good as well. Overall, a satisfied luch with a beautiful atmosphere.
I visit the Blue Mountains regularly and have never been disappointed with the food I’ve eaten at the cafe. We enjoyed the breakfast there 2 days in a row, the granola, yogurt & fruit this morning was a standout. I see a lot of negative reviews, it’s a cafe with reasonably priced tasty food, I’m not sure what kind of service some of these people are looking for??? I’ll happily go there anytime, I’ve never been disappointed and I’ve travelled the world…
The Leura Gourmet Cafe and Deli is a terrific place to drop in and have a morning tea, lunch or to even takeaway some of the delicious food on offer. We had a lovely morning tea at the cafe, and purchased subsequent ‘home cooked’ and delicious food items to eat at our accomodation. We just loved the zucchini slice and lasagne. Service was excellent. Staff were friendly and more than happy to serve. The large windows at the rear of the cafe provide a brilliant view of the valley and across to Katoomba. Its popularity was obvious, as there were always locals and visitors alike in the dining area. Try it. You will not be disappointed.
We check council regulations, official sources, and community reviews to verify dog access at every venue. Access may change — always check on-site signage. Something wrong or missing? Submit feedback. How it works.
