Very popular (people were queuing to get in) café in Leura, providing a good dining alternative to nearby Katoomba. Quick service and decent food. Recommended.

Great place to have a bite to eat after visiting the Blue Mountains. Reasonable selection of food, including a Kangaroo burger (cannot comment as prefer to see them in the narure rather than in burgers) and good size portions. Truffle chips are very popular and cime in a massive bowl. Service was super efficient during the busy lunchtime we visited.

Visited during the fair so there was a lot of people around. The line moved pretty quickly and we were seated outside within 5 minutes. Between two we got Cheeseburger and fish and chips. Generous servings. The only call-out is that most of the tables outside were tilted which made it a little difficult to eat without worrying the water was going to tip.

Well, it was very popular cafe at the most popular town in Blue mountains! I don’t know why but a lot of tourists from bans seem to go this cafe and the ice cream shop cross the road. We went there for Saturday lunch and it was very busy time in the town, but we didn’t wait long thanksfully. There were empty seats but they seem taking longer time to seat everyone for some reason…??? The service was efficient and polite, not Aussie style friendly though. Don’t get me wrong, everyone was nice and attentive. They were just not as chatty as typical Aussie oldies. Also there was credit card and weekend surcharge, which is not very clearly signed. The atmosphere was modern and lively, although tables were so close to each other and I could hear everything that my next neighbour says. Also I won’t sit outside either… looks like tables were not levelled. High ceiling trapped the noise but able to easily talk to your company. Food was excellent. We ordered baked pumpkin and lamb gyros, which were superb!!! The pumpkin had that amazing look in size and presentation, and excellent flavour. The beetroot hummus, feta, balsamic glaze and nuts…. They all were balanced well in my mouth. I’d make it at home repeatedly. The lamb gyros was delicious as well, tender meat with great lamb flavour, the sauce was not too much but just right amount. I can’t wait to try other items in the menu as well… it will be my favourite cafe in Leura if I’m in town.

Popped into Café Leura. I had the Mediterranean eggs honestly, pretty average, nothing wow about them. My husband had the Mountain Breakfast and he was much happier with his choice. My coffee, on the other hand, came out warm-ish… which is never the vibe when you’re hanging out in the mountains ❄️ 🥶. Service was great though super friendly team, which made the experience much better.
