Café Leura - Modern Australian Cafe Restaurant

Hi, we came there after our blue mountains trip, and we were excepting from this place just some beers and some French fries. We wait 15 min for 3 beers and 15 more for some small fridge fries. 16$ for a beer, not even a pints and 8$ for a small fries, it’s just not acceptable for this kind of localization. I pay less than that on the best rooftop of Sydney. So if one day you are searching for a good place, don’t go there even if it’s the only place open.

We stopped at this cafe during our journey and it turned out to be a great mid-trip break. We had a chicken club sandwich, veggie burger, chicken nuggets, fries, and coffee. The chicken was halal, which was a big plus for us, and the chicken club sandwich was really good. The veggie burger was nice as well, and the nuggets and fries made it a comfortable, filling meal. The strawberry milkshake was also good. The coffee was fine too, and overall it was exactly what we needed at that point in the trip, a warm, satisfying meal before continuing on. A solid stop if you are on the route and looking for a quick but proper cafe meal.

A very clean place, and you can tell it’s run with a lot of care and attention. However, the staff could use better training. The waiter’s half-smiling expression while taking our order made me feel a bit uncomfortable. Aside from that, we were very satisfied with the food.

Lovely cafe with a really nice atmosphere and friendly service. The food was absolutely delicious — I had the Greek Lamb Benedict and it was amazing, full of flavour and perfectly cooked. Definitely recommend if you’re visiting Leura!

Very popular (people were queuing to get in) café in Leura, providing a good dining alternative to nearby Katoomba. Quick service and decent food. Recommended.
