Side B Vinyl Bar is a bar in Blackheath where dog access has not yet been confirmed — it's worth checking before you visit.
3 week east coast drive and by farrrr the best and most interesting bar. Cocktails were superb and music selection is eclectic and wonderful. I actually just discovered I have a mild almond allergy whilst having the complimentary nuts but whatever I still had to try their Amaretto Sour and it was fantastic. You must come by if you’re in the Blue Mountains or don’t and have a sub par time - your choice :)
I travel to Sydney every few weeks and try to get here on the way, during my Blackheath stopover. I love trying the different cocktails, listening to records being played, whole sides at a time, the cozy, dark, moody lighting. I can't really comment on the food, as most of it I can't eat due to allergies, although I did once have an entire baked camembert! which was delicious. I recommend you book your time as it is popular at times.
This place is an absolutely magical haven - an unassuming living room styled bar, drenched in cosiness, music, vinyls, and an atmosphere you would never anticipate by walking past. Every week they have a different collection of their favourite LPs, and being in there you can feel the love for music seeping through the dark yet glimmering walls. Tables tucked into corners, games if you’re interesting, and just as importantly as good music - exceptional cocktails. They are absolutely top notch and incredibly delicious. The food is also excellent with a great menu and range for both. We live in Sydney but come to the mountains often, and we come here several times every visit. It’s a refreshingly wonderful place up in the mountains, designs to encourage conversation, embrace music, and forget the world for an evening. Keep thriving please!! We need more bars like this. See you next time xxx
During a 3 week trip to Australia this was by far my favourite little bar. Excellent service, quirky atmosphere and they play a vinyl selection each week which they include in their menu. This is a must if you're in the Blue Mountains. I didn't eat here so couldn't leave a star rating for food but it looked amazing.
what a great place, the whole package is great. good food, excellent cocktails and reasonably priced! the food is simple but good ingredients which is all you need. I wish it was in Leura though :). highly recommend
