Great experience at Boiler House Restaurant at The Hydro Majestic. The staff were excellent: big shoutout to Mauro and the front-of-house team for the warm service. Loved the duck ragu pappardelle, tuna crudo, Angus rump, and ’nduja pizza. Beautiful food, beautiful view. Highly recommend.
Pizza took 60mins thats way too long. Priority is given to bookings well in advance. Order online ahead or your order will take well over an hour. Food is good but be prepared to wait. Oysters were lovely. Cocktails are delicious. Staff very seem inexperienced.
They made us feel very welcome. Friendly Waiters checked on us regularly to make sure we were looked after. Drinks and food served promptly. I mentioned in the online booking that it was our anniversary lunch .not only dod they allocate us a great table with a wonderful view but surprised us with a complimentary Tiramisu. They really went the extra mile to make our special occasion a great experience.
Absolutely delicious meal of brisket. Great service by Vinjay and the other gentleman server. Glad I booked my table for one. It was busy on a Thursday. Popular for large groups of friends and noticed year 12 graduates and parents dining nearby. How nice. Nice to see food bill on credit card doesn’t incur surcharge. That’s great.
We recently visited Boiler House Restaurant at Blue Mountains, drawn in by its beautiful views and relaxing atmosphere. We were especially happy that our request for a window seat was kindly granted, making the experience feel even more special at first. We arrived around 1:30 PM, looking forward to a nice meal after a long drive. While the food was genuinely delicious and the staff were friendly, we unfortunately left feeling more disappointed than satisfied. It took until 2:50 PM for our main dishes to arrive almost an hour and a half later. Not long after we started eating, staff were already calling for last orders as the kitchen was closing, and most of the other diners had left. We felt rushed to finish, which really took away from what should have been a relaxed meal. Adding to that feeling, we overheard another guest mention they had also been waiting for over an hour. At the same time, we noticed some guests who arrived after us being served their food much quicker. We’re not sure how the system works, but it definitely left us wondering. That said, we really appreciated the quality of the food and the friendliness of the team. We just feel there’s room to improve service flow and timing. Especially for a destination like Blue Mountains, where many guests travel far to visit, maintaining a smooth and fair dining experience is important. It would really help ensure people leave with happy memories rather than quiet disappointment.
