Stunning food. Had the Prosciutto to start with and the Pappardelle Con Ragu as my main. Both were great serving sizes and the flavour was superb. Meat was cooked perfectly with the pasta. Shame this place is on a side street as they don't get enough foot traffic for how good the food is. Highly recommend. Shout out to Nicolas for the great service.
Best Italian restaurant I have even been too. Food was excellent and delicious. Atmosphere was cosy and really intimate. All dishes I ordered were amazing. It worth the walk from the main Bondi beach.
I’d like to shout out the Amalfi staff for finding us a table, despite the fact I thought that I booked one and actually did not! And on top of that waltzing in 1 hour before they closed. This restaurant has a really pretty interior and is certainly some of the best Italian food, I’ve had whilst I’ve been in Australia. We shared the anchovy bruschetta to start. I had the beef lasagne and my girlfriend had the prawn risotto which were all lovely and I highly recommend all of these dishes.
Their food was spot on, we loved the tuna tartare. The manager was extremely lovely. However I had to give 4 stars for the service because the wait staff didn't seem as friendly. They were a bit standoffish. To be fair, nobody likes working during the holidays so I totally understand. Still, great food!
As Italian I rarely get blown away by an Italian restaurant abroad. But at Amalfi everything was pure Perfection. VURN was an outstanding front of the house and waiter. Made the best AperolSpritz I have drunk during my 2 weeks in Australia. Tuna tartare and Spaghetti with clam were both PHENOMENAL! Thee portions were really generous, hence I didn’t need a desert!
We check council regulations, official sources, and community reviews to verify dog access at every venue. Access may change — always check on-site signage. Something wrong or missing? Submit feedback. How it works.
