We went here for the first time last night, and brought our very big dog. The back patio area welcomes dogs, which there was plenty, and all friendly. one thing to note is that the middle isn't covered so if it does start to rain you might be out of luck with a pet as inside isn't pet friendly. All the staff were super friendly, which is refreshing in this day in age. the food was great, we had the special katsu burger, chicken burger, and the fish and chips - which was light and not heavy with the taste of grease. only 1 thing that ended up being alright was i requested my booking undercover as it was expected to rain, and were placed in the middle. it didn't end up raining so it wasn't an issue. We will be back.

Good hangout spot with nice ambience and a homely vibe. A bit pricey as it’s a Merrivale joint but if you don’t mind that I recommend. It has a pet friendly beer garden that I visit often and enjoy the most. The food is average in my opinion. The best thing in the menu are the shares or steaks. Standard pub with a good vibe!

I came with my sisters to this pub I wanted To have some fun at the pokies for tonight there was lots of entries to this place so went and asked a security officer for help, she then asked for IDs and strisght from the back she was giving attitude I proceeded to show her my service nsw licence she then said can you log out of it and log back in cause “ there’s fake apps” my sister showed her picture of her white card and she wasn’t happy with it .because I didn’t log out and log in then i said are you gonna let her in she then started attacking me saying what’s it to you why would u say that to her if use have an ID my third sister then said she’s just saying if your not gonna except the seconds sisters white card why would we do this hassle and log out of service nsw ? She then started attacking us with very masculine energy hand in fist and being so disrespectful in front of lots of people , she told us to piss off and get out of her face and was getting in my sisters face. me and my sisters feel like she discriminated embarrassed and humiliated us because we are ppl of colour. I won’t be retuning to this place nor will I let ppl know about this place that’s how frustrated and humiliated I feel.ppl were lauging and maybe even recording.

Trivia on a Wednesday night with Skyler is the best!!! It’s never the same without him. Hands down, best quiz master in Sydney! Wish the menu got changed up a bit . When you’re going every week you run through the menu pretty quick. Perhaps a grain bowl, or a poke bowl? But food quality is always amazing. Service is always great too!

We met some friends for an early (6pm) dinner. A group of 4 adults and 4 children. The food was average though did arrive quickly. The Nachos looked the most appealing of the mains though the steak and fish meals were ok for pub grub. Kids meals were very average ($15 each) and the kids pasta dish was the appropriate amount for a toddler. The wrong meal was provided and they were fast to replace the tiny meal with the correct dish though again such a small portion. There was a DJ and thumping music so they are clearly not aiming at local families for business.
