I had a wonderful time walking the Bondi to Coogee Coastal Walk. The trail is relatively easy and incredibly scenic, making it perfect for a relaxing outing. The pathways are well-maintained, and at almost every stop, you’ll find yourself pausing to take photos or simply soaking in the stunning views. What I really loved was how accessible the coastline is—there are several spots where you can walk down to the rocks and experience the sea breeze up close, which makes the whole experience even more special. Just a small tip: be careful if you’re wearing slippers, as some areas can be a bit uneven. Overall, it’s a beautiful and enjoyable walk that I’d highly recommend to anyone visiting Sydney!

The Coastal Walk from Clovelly to Tamarama is a spectacular stretch of Sydney’s iconic Bondi to Coogee trail, offering some of the most scenic views, geological drama, and beachside charm you’ll find along the coast. This section is a perfect blend of natural beauty, cultural vibrancy, and well-maintained pathways that make the journey just as enjoyable as the destinations. Starting at Clovelly, you’re greeted with calm waters and a relaxed atmosphere — perfect for a morning swim or a quick snorkel before setting off. As you head north, the path winds along rugged cliffs and rocky outcrops, with dramatic ocean views that constantly shift with the light and weather. The trail is punctuated with informative signs and resting spots, giving you time to pause, reflect, and take in the scenery. One of the highlights along this route is Bronte Beach, a lively and family-friendly spot with grassy picnic areas, ocean pools, and cafés. It's an ideal midpoint to grab a coffee or just sit under a tree and soak up the atmosphere. From Bronte, the walk becomes even more photogenic, with panoramic cliffside views, sandstone formations, and crashing waves below. The final stretch toward Tamarama is breathtaking — a rugged, narrow beach tucked into a dramatic cove, often favored by surfers and creative souls. If you’re walking this path during the annual Sculpture by the Sea exhibition, the entire route transforms into an open-air gallery, with large-scale artworks integrated into the natural landscape. Overall, the Clovelly to Tamarama walk is a compact but rich experience, blending wellness, nature, and local culture in one continuous line of beauty. Whether you're walking, jogging, or just meandering with your camera, it's a must-do for anyone exploring Sydney's coastline.

Scenic, beautiful coastal walk. Easy to access steps. Some walkways and stairs are narrow for mobility impaired walkers. Beautiful, open air and amazing beach views along the way.
