Dolls Point Beach is a dog-friendly beach in Sandringham. You'll find BBQs and toilets nearby, while Depena Reserve is less than 100 metres away if your dog still has energy to burn after a swim.
Nice walking track. Pretty busy. Lots of dog lovers. Semi friendly people. Walked Dolls point to almost Brighton. Mid vibe but views were nice
A quiet and clean beach with soft sand and calm water. Doll Point Beach feels peaceful and less crowded compared to many Sydney beaches, which makes it ideal for slow walks, swimming, and relaxing by the shore. The water stays shallow for a good distance, so it suits families and casual swimmers. The surroundings feel natural and open, with nice views across the bay. You can sit on the sand, watch the boats, or just enjoy the stillness. Facilities are basic, so bring your own snacks, water, and shade. Parking can get busy on weekends, so early arrival helps. A good choice when you want a simple beach day without noise and heavy crowds.
Such a hidden little gem in Sydney, the beach is beautiful and quiet. On a good day the water can be crystal clear and the sand is Caribbean white! The park has a child friendly playground, bbq and more
Great beach for families with little ones, lots of parking spaces as well.
We have been going to this beach during holidays for the past 15+ years. Over the years it has become very popular. New years, Christmas day, Australia day an over Easter you will not find parking or a good spot as it is packed out until late in the evening. They used to have showers there before but have only toilets now. So be ready to bath at the outdoor taps after a swim. I have seen people washing their feet and bathing children in the sinks due to there being no showers.
We check council regulations, official sources, and community reviews to verify dog access at every venue. Access may change — always check on-site signage. Something wrong or missing? Submit feedback. How it works.
