Dolls Point Beach is a dog-friendly beach in Sandringham. Just 100m away, Depena Reserve is a nearby option to stop in after your walk.
Such a hidden little gem in Sydney, the beach is beautiful and quiet. On a good day the water can be crystal clear and the sand is Caribbean white! The park has a child friendly playground, bbq and more
Great beach for families with little ones, lots of parking spaces as well.
We have been going to this beach during holidays for the past 15+ years. Over the years it has become very popular. New years, Christmas day, Australia day an over Easter you will not find parking or a good spot as it is packed out until late in the evening. They used to have showers there before but have only toilets now. So be ready to bath at the outdoor taps after a swim. I have seen people washing their feet and bathing children in the sinks due to there being no showers.
If you like waves, this is not the right beach. It has calm deep waters, most of the areas unmonitored. Clear water beach with many people fishing too. There are showers available once you pass the cook park. Parking on Cook Park might be more convenient I guess. Yes BBQ available with hot plates. However, we didn't take risk to cook because of the birds literally in flocks sitting and waiting for food so at your risk. Otherwise nice for kids friendly with park.
It's a quite beach to relqx and take rest there. You can walk, barbecue, and swim there as well 😉
We check council regulations, official sources, and community reviews to verify dog access at every venue. Access may change — always check on-site signage. Something wrong or missing? Submit feedback. How it works.
