Located on Russell Avenue, Dolls Point, New South Wales, Australia 🇦🇺(Near Sans Souci). This wonderful little spot consists of a wonderful park and a walking pathway that takes you alongside the water all the way to Ramsgate beach and beyond. There’s great spots where you can fish and where you can take a swim. You can often see people kitesurfing in the water. The view over the water is stunning, especially on a sunny day. There’s very good toilet facilities and there’s a cafe where you can get a drink or something to eat. There’s good seating facilities in the park where you can have a picnic and the parking is very good and convenient and it’s also free. There’s plenty of large grassy areas in the park ideal for tossing around the ball and maybe having a picnic. There’s a good children’s playground and seating area along with electric BBQ facilities. It’s a wonderful place to bring children, I always see young children on the beach. Thumbs Up! 👍👍👍

Peter Depena Reserve is located in Russell Avenue, Dolls Point, a small suburb near Sans Souci. It is an ideal family park with free electric BBQs, picnic shelters and park seating. There are plenty of large trees, which provide shade during hot summer months and also a great playground for kids of all ages. Large grassy open spaces make the reserve perfect for playing ball, cricket or for children to fly their kites. For those wishing to go bike riding, skateboarding or scooting, a great bike track runs along the reserve, right near the beach that extends for several kilometres and leads to Cook Park. The beach next to the reserve has beautiful white sand, but the sea can get choppy. You will often see kitesurfers testing their skills as they combine wakeboarding, windsurfing, surfing, paragliding, and gymnastics into one extreme sport. If you have not seen kitesurfing before, grab a coffee and go and watch these extremely fit and strong riders in action

It’s a stunning beach with a beautiful view and it isn’t crowded most of the time. The beach is located near shops, a hotel, and park which is perfect for family gatherings or birthday celebrations. With a wide spacious place to hold any kind of occasion it’s rather peaceful and clean and you will definitely have no trouble to get a good spot on the beach. The beaches and parks are relatively sanitary and are in flawless condition. The local people are very kind. Overall, it is a must to go visit Depena Reserve and enjoy the amazing sand and sea.
