CARMELA Nonna of Piccolina is one of those places you keep coming back to, and for good reason. I’ve been here several times and the food is consistently delicious, comforting, and full of flavour. The Italian food feels homemade and generous, with so much care in every dish. My absolute favourites are the gnocchi and the pizza, both always perfectly done and deeply satisfying. It’s the kind of restaurant that makes you feel welcomed, relaxed, and well fed. If you’re craving real Italian comfort food in Sydney, this place never disappoints.

We’ve been here several times and it’s been absolutely delicious every time. The team here have nailed their menu and their service, although very busy, is always very professional and rather quick. Definitely recommend!

Everything was very tasty! The pizza dough was light and crunchy. We also tried the pasta and it was really good. The tiramisu was delicious. All the food was amazing and the service was excellent. 100% recommended!

Absolutely love this restaurant, the food is so authentic and the portion sizes are so well sized, the prices are so affordable for double bay. This place has an amazing vibe with jazz like music and tons of people creating a warm atmosphere. Greeted straight away by very nice servers and I think the owner perhaps came over to greet us. Just an amazing vibe this restaurant has, the food was so good with my favourites being the vodka pasta and the tiramisu, the quality of the pasta and the tiramisu are just so perfect. I look forward to coming again!
