I take my parents to fine dining every Sunday, and my two requirements are: have a water view, and pet-friendly. I guess that’s why we missed out this restaurant because it sits in a residential area and has no view. However, this time we are very amazed. Food is fantastic! Service is great too! Our waiter Christian is so lovely and considerate. Outdoor siting is very warm with the heater so please don’t worry if you plan to dine here with your furry ones in winter. Also outdoor siting is super pet-friendly. Christian brought some water to my dog and he even apologised the water came late - it wasn’t at all! Everyone is so friendly at this restaurant. If I have to pick something negative, it would be the kitchen smoke all goes into the washrooms. And the food does take a while to get ready. We waited a long while to get our mains. I understand French/Italian food would take a longer time to cook but dad had insulin so I would appreciate if the food could come a bit quicker. All in all this is a very lovely venue. We will definitely come more often. Response to Baci: thank you so much for such a wonderful response! This is definitely 6 star management level! We will see you guys again very soon 🩵

I had a very disappointing experience at this restaurant. Despite there being plenty of available tables inside, the hostesses refused to seat us simply because I arrived with my child. Instead, they repeatedly offered us a table outside, even though it was cold and there were clearly empty tables available indoors. This made no sense and felt extremely unfair. What made the situation even worse was their behavior afterward. While we were waiting for my husband, who was parking the car, the staff repeatedly pressured us to leave and essentially tried to force us out of the restaurant. This level of disrespect toward customers is completely unacceptable. The hostesses were arrogant, condescending, and showed no basic courtesy, empathy, or professionalism. No guest should be treated this way, especially a parent with a child. I do not recommend this establishment. The customer service is shockingly poor, and the attitude of the front-of-house staff reflects very badly on the restaurant as a whole. There are many restaurants that value and respect their guests—unfortunately, this is not one of them.

I had an amazing birthday dinner here and I honestly couldn’t recommend this place more. From start to finish, everything was perfect. Lisa, our waitress, was absolutely lovely, friendly, attentive, and full of great recommendations. She helped us choose the best dishes and shared plenty of laughs with us along the way, which made the whole evening even more special. Big shout-out as well to Dala, who was always so sweet and kind. The food was incredible, the service was flawless, and the atmosphere made the night unforgettable. Easily one of the best dining experiences I’ve had. Food and service: 10/10. Highly, highly recommend! 🇫🇷✨

Great service with underwhelming food, okay venue and weird, defensive management (see restaurant’s reply). Venue was loud and dark, but we did get unlucky with seating next to the kitchen behind a huge column right at the back, so maybe it would have been a nicer experience being seated in a different spot. Ordered the 1kg rib eye to share, it was also okay, but something you could order at a decent pub. We really enjoyed the service at least, our server Adrian was very attentive and had some great suggestions for wine and sides, definitely a mixed experience! Edit: I really don’t appreciate the lecture I received from management. Are you seriously scolding me for an honest review? I’ll happily never step foot back in the place now. I can see from some other honest reviews management has too much time on their hands and should maybe focus on sourcing another supplier for their steak. Edited star rating to reflect this. Absolutely bizzare.

Bistro Rex offers a cosy and elegant dining experience with a modern European touch. The food is well executed, using quality ingredients and balanced flavours, while the presentation is simple yet refined. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, making it a great spot for a relaxed dinner or a casual catch-up. Service is attentive and professional, adding to an overall enjoyable and comfortable dining experience.
