Fitzroy Gardens is a beautiful and peaceful escape in the heart of Melbourne. The gardens are exceptionally well maintained, with lush greenery, wide walking paths, and plenty of shaded seating areas. It is perfect for a relaxing walk, a morning stroll, or simply enjoying nature away from the city noise. Paid Parking is available.
Wonderful public park with El Alamein Fountain, in the middle of our built up area so always needed! Excellent toilets (incl disabled access) beneath the Police Station. Fantastic Farmer’s Markets are held here too - it’s a wonderful place 🤩
lovely garden with lots of benches & grass to sit on! 🩵 beautiful water foundation too!!
Where potts point borders with Kings Cross, is this lovely peaceful park, with plenty of seating under a giant fig tree.
Well designed, open green space at the heart of Potts Point, Fitzroy Gardens is a great place to visit. It’s made up of several different areas, including a cool fountain, a lower area with some benches, and an upper area with a small section of turf and more seating. It’s surrounded by a variety of restaurants and just down the road from the train station. Although this isn’t a place I would travel to just to visit, it’s a great spot to read a book, eat lunch, or meet friends if you’re in the neighborhood.
