This is a fantastic place for a coffee and a meal. The staff are welcoming and friendly. The food is awesome for your ‘everyday’ full breakfast, schnitzel chips and salad, pasta and I’m a huge fan of the T-bone steak with chips and salad (pictured). There’s nothing fancy about the place and you won’t find it featured on TikTok or Instagram, but it’s a gem of a place that locals know will never disappoint. Xie xie Amy and William!

It may have been a rainy day when I went but the warm welcome I got was perfect.I sat outside under a large umbrella and my order was taken quickly.I dont know anywhere else in Sydney where you can get a breakfast of 2 eggs,2 bacon,2 toast and a tomato for $7 plus $4 foe a coffee. There is seating inside though outside sitting is the most popular.A great place to people watch aswell.Froth is popular among locals as well as tourists, staff are amazing and always up for a chat, clean tables and chairs, fresh cutlery with a napkin and the usual salt, pepper and sugar is on the table, they accept both cash and card. They also have a daily lunch menu.

19/7/25 I’m sooooo lucky they are still here! I moved back to Potts Point this week so I NEVER have to cook a breakfast any time of the day ever again because these WONDERFULS do it for us, any time of the day, every day!!! And the triple shot flat white is the BEST because it’s STRONG & TASTY. Price$ are still the lowest you will find ANYWHERE in Australia. I LOVE these hard working people - they’re the BEST people our planet has ever produced 🥰🙏🙏🙏👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼✅✅✅👯‍♀️👯‍♀️👯‍♀️🎉🎉🎉 xxx ——————————————————— Still as unbelievably affordable when you want a proper “bacon & eggs & toast with coffee” that they were a decade ago (yep!). Amazing. In Kings Cross (which has been turned into a “rich only” boring hell hole), this is one of the few remaining joys. Wonderful staff who work fast & hard to make everyone happy - at incredibly low cost to us customers 😘😘😘

Loved going here. We went for a T-bone steak meal on a Saturday lunchtime & ate everything on the plate. The food was great, cooked exactly as requested and the chips were phenomenal. Loved the outdoor dining atmosphere, ended up chatting & enjoying the company of other patrons as well as our own. The staff were really lovely & professional, nothing was too much effort and they were very efficient. Would I go here again? Let's say it's become one of my faves. I also want to say how good the bacon & eggs looked. Another patron had ordered it, & I couldn't believe you got 2 bacon, 2 eggs, 2 toast & grilled tomato for only $7!

I adore Froth Espresso due to the amiability of the staff, the menu and the economical prices. Usually, other Asians are hostile or cold towards me (I am biracial) so I was gladdened to be greeted with a smile. I purchased a mocha and dined on a steak. Together, they costed 18.50. In Melbourne, this meal would cost 30 dollars. I enjoyed sitting on the sidewalk as part of a multicultural crowd. During winter, one may feel inclined to sit inside. Many thanks for taking care of me, a weary traveller and single woman. PS: the mocha was rich and the steak and sides were filling.
