Beare Park is a lovely harbourside park in Elizabeth Bay, with heritage features, grassed lawns and a little marina cafe overlooking the water. Dogs are allowed off-leash between 4:30pm and 9:30am, seven days a week, and are kept clear of the playground, as part of the City of Sydney off-leash program. There is drinking water and parking on hand. A pretty waterfront spot for a timed off-leash walk.

Dog rules

A lovely park on the water line in Elizabeth Bay. There are features incorporated from past heritage. There is also signage/information displayed about the past heritage too. There's access to a small beach; access to the seawater via a stair; a small children's playground; public toilet, and Lots of park benches. I especially liked the artificial rock pools attached to the exterior of the sea wall. Loads of dogs on leads too. I couldn't see a dedicated picnic area however there's nothing to stop you picnicking on the ample lawns...

Lovely little park with a nice, peaceful waterfront view. It’s a quiet spot that’s great for a short walk or just sitting and enjoying the water. There’s also a small playground and public toilets, which makes it convenient if you’re visiting with kids. Simple but very pleasant - a nice place to relax for a bit (especially as it’s nearby my office 😉)

Setting is picturesque and a great photography spot. This is a relatively small part with a local marina and a coffee shop. You could spend an hour here but the problem is there is not enough parking in the area and not much to do anyway for longer time. This looks like a small private park for the local residents to enjoy. Excellent toilet facilities and superb views

Nice small park full of ammenities and options, small beachfront, marina, restaurant, sea wall, water fountain, clean facilities and green space suitable for sunbathing. Beare Park is located at the northern end of Ithaca Road in Elizabeth Bay. Take Ward Avenue from William Street. Turn right at the roundabout onto Elizabeth Bay Road and then left onto Ithaca Street.

Beautiful harbor side park where you can walk your dogs and have lunch at the little marina cafe overlooking the water. We shared great coffees and a delicious chicken BLT and chips.
