I visited Blacktown Showgrounds as part of Sydney Telugu Christian Fellowship team to perform in the Blacktown City Council Carols event and had a great experience. There was plenty of parking available, the event was very well organised, and the grounds are well maintained. Overall, a fantastic venue for community events.

Blacktown Showground is a great place for families and the community. Spacious area with plenty of green space, walking tracks, and seating. The playground is excellent for kids, and there are regular events and markets that make it lively. Parking is usually easy, and the location is very convenient. A lovely spot to relax, enjoy with family, or attend local events.

Lovely place for a picnic. Large undercover water play area as well as a variety of outdoor playground equipment. Lots of picnic tables and BBQ. There are shelter sheds large enough for group events If you prefer to have someone else do the cooking there is a Cafe. Its lovely and shady hère with lots of plants and large trees. Overall it was a very pleasant experience. The 3yr old and 5 yr old kids we had with us that day loved it.

Such a great community space with many multicultural events held in this area. Recently with to a free diwali mela hosted by the national Hindu society. Wonderful dance performances and firework display. Should visit the Francis park next door (part of the showground) where there’s water play and many many many spots for family picnics.

It was Dussehra Fair, Organised by Hindu Council, the atmosphere was terrific , food was fabulous, And the biggest attraction was Effigy of Demon King Ravana, which was burned as per the tradition.
