The Hayberry Diner & Bar in Crows Nest is a dog-friendly venue with a Mexican-leaning menu — the tacos get consistently high marks. Hume Street Park is around 140 metres away if you want to tire your dog out first.
Dog friendly.
Was recommended the double chicken burger if I was hungry at 8 pm on a Friday (received in a timely manner). Told the server I would leave a review either way. Burger was great $2 chilli sauce purchased by the owner made it. Owner was a vibe, running food, clearing tables, interacting with staff. $6 half pints of lager make for easy drinking and love the dark atmosphere and old American rock music!
Somewhat incongruous vibe to surrounding Crows Nest strip. But great craft beers on tap, and in the fridge. On point food and atmosphere. I do love a place that doesn’t take itself too seriously…
The Cheesus Burger is pure comfort food done right. A juicy beef patty smothered in rich, melted cheese, balanced with pickles and onion, all packed into a soft bun that holds together till the last bite. It’s messy, indulgent, and exactly what you want with a cold drink. Simple, cheesy, and seriously satisfying. 🍔🔥
The Hayberry is beyond fab! They do a great gluten free burger plus the chips are gluten free and done in a gluten free fryer. I've never had a reaction from this place and I've been going here for years. Also, the tunes are unparalleled and the atmosphere is fun and chill. This place is a 20/10.
Great moment at this place. Excellent customer service The tacos were absolutely deliciously especially the Crispy Fish! Very accomodating towards specific dietary requirements (gluten- and dairy free options readily available). Try out the cocktails, they too very delish.
We check council regulations, official sources, and community reviews to verify dog access at every venue. Access may change — always check on-site signage. Something wrong or missing? Submit feedback. How it works.
