Food lover and always looking for hidden gems in the north shore area. Attracted by Salmon & Bear’s website and decided to give it a try. Same menu for lunch and dinner.  3 of us opted for à la carte - sharing one starter, 2 mains, 1 pasta, 3 sides and 2 desserts. Calamari is crispy and tender. King Salmon is good, and the Scotch filet is juicy. The prawn vodka rigatoni is full of flavour. The fastest dish we finished is the chats potato with romesco sauce:)  Service is great - thank you, Molly.  A little over $200 for a quality and enjoyable lunch is good value for money and deserved a 5 stars rating. Free 2 hours parking at Coles.  AII in all a very satisfied lunch. We will be back with family and friends and definitely will try the banquet set dishes. If S&B can improve the food plating and decor, it might even get a one hat award.

The restaurant is closed to the metro station which is so convenient. The venue is cosy with friendly staff and the meals are beautifully prepared. We ordered the banquet meals for our group of 7. Unfortunately a waitress had removed our unfinished bowl of Edamame without asking, and we are too busy at chatting with each other. It’s a full bowl of edamame! It’s too late when we recognised the missing bowl of edamame. What a waste!! Otherwise we all had an awesome time there.

I don’t normally leave reviews but this place was so amazing. We got the banquet meal and there was so much to eat every single dish was so delicious I especially recommend the potato and corns as a side and even though when I was booking the restaurant I accidentally clicked the booking for a birthday they still gave me the free dessert and the dessert was a generous amount. The servers were all so friendly and made my day. Also I met superwog. Best night ever thanks guys for giving me the best night. I hope you read this as I didn’t get to express my gratitude in person.

10/10, what an incredible experience. The young man who looked after our table made my partner’s birthday feel even more special. Service was fantastic and they treated us with a lovely lemon meringue. The food was incredible, we will definitely be back.

Obsessed is an absolute understatement. We have been twice now and everything has been impeccable from arrival to departure. We all felt so welcomed and valued as guests to Salmon and Bear! The banquet/set menu is absolute value for money! We left completely full and satisfied. Cannot fault anything about this place! Must must must have the carrots! And if you want to try something new, give the cauliflower steak a try! Its fantastic and so flavourful! The drinks are strong and food is phenomenonal!
