Great hike with beautiful swimming holes. Just make sure you have enough water for the hike out on a hot day and some good 👞!
2km down, which means 2km back up. Well marked trail to the top and bottom pools of victoria falls. Plus a nice view of the Silver Cascades.
ABSOLUTELY divine. Can’t recommend enough if you’re able to do a difficult trail to and from the falls. Went in late January and there was still cool water flowing and a beautiful water fall display. (No trickle a full gush!) Cant recommend enough, might get busy in summer so even going later like 3/ 4ish is okay because there’s plenty of daylight during the summer.
If you’re going up, trust me the hike uphill is worth it, 2 beautiful waterfalls and a lookout (silver cascades better imo) the track can get a bit muddy at times and steep but you’ll be fine for sure
Breathtakingly beautiful, very difficult walk down and back up. I'm 49 and I've done it a few times, most recently with a 15kg pack. If you don't have the fitness think twice, if you do however it's just beautiful down there. There are trail cams present so think twice before leaving trash behind, the fines are astonishing.
We check council regulations, official sources, and community reviews to verify dog access at every venue. Access may change — always check on-site signage. Something wrong or missing? Submit feedback. How it works.
