Federal Falls is part of the South Lawson Waterfall Circuit (Blue Mountains City Council land, not NPWS). Dogs are welcome on-leash along the circuit trails. The designated off-leash zone is the cleared area at South Lawson Park; dogs must remain on-leash on the bushland trails to the falls. Great short walk, beautiful scenery, wear boots if it's been raining recently
Great little spot. I wouldn't say to easy to access as towards the end the track gets pretty steep even though they put a handrail. Great to have a quick shower under the fall. The way back up its a bit of killer but definitely enjoyed.
