South Lawson Parklands is home to one of the few dog-friendly bushwalks in the Blue Mountains — a 3km loop passing four waterfalls (Adelina, Federal, Cataract, and Junction Falls) through temperate rainforest. Dogs must be on-leash on the circuit, but the scenery makes up for it. The track can be muddy and has some steep sections, so sturdy shoes are essential. On warmer days, there are shallow creek pools where dogs can splash and cool off between falls. The trailhead connects to the adjacent South Lawson Dog Park if your dog still has energy for an off-leash run afterwards.
Designated off-leash dog area. Dogs must be under effective control at all times. The off-leash zone is the cleared area at the trailhead; dogs must remain on-leash on the Waterfall Circuit bushland trails. Great place to take your dog, so friendly and big, be prepared if your walking the waterfalls can be steep & mudfy in areas but a really good trek. Huge off leash park and agility section. Your dog will love you for it.
An old golf course turned dog park and with a agility course and surrounding tracks leading to waterfalls it makes for a great place to take a dogs for a day out.
An old golf course turned into a beautiful large public park with walking / cycling trails, picnic areas and an off leash dog park. Very lucky to have this so close to home!
It’s a beautiful park under the blue sky. If you have puppy, you must visit this place. Don’t forget ball and frisbee for your puppy. ( A lot of dog friendly bushwalking tracks and waterfalls around
Fabulous place to walk the dogs off leash with lots of space for the dogs to explore or play with others. Best use of a golf course ever. 🙃
