The Shire is a goldmine of quiet streets and neighbourhoods once off the main material roads. Caringbah is a standout as its just over the Georges River and the quietitude begins. Great parks and suburban streets with footpaths and very little traffic of any kind. Kids playing on the streets and enjoying play with beautiful large gums as street trees throwing shade and a natural ambience to the walk, run, cycling experience or a simple stroll with a stroller while the grandson dozes then off to a very good cafe- Mr Paisley on Cawarra Street for a delicious meal and great coffee. The Shire is a treasure
A surprisingly large park with playground suitable for both young and older children. Also has a great track for bikes and scooters. Some areas are well shaded.
Nice and peaceful local park. Lot of activity for kids. Picnic area, playground and BBQ.
An exceptional park with exceptional features. Good parking, nice picnic and dining facilities. Great size and location. An amazing range of facilities for children to play on.
Such a peaceful place. We loved it. So much space to ride bikes and scooters. My son loves riding over the bridge. Cute playground and flying fox. Just watch you little ones as the park is not fenced from the side car park. Follow parksandadventuresofsydney on Instagram for more 😊
