What people say
You can walk along the tracks in this park starting from Sutherland and walk down to Woronora, a beautiful bushwalk from Sutherland down to river. Once at the river there is a small beach where people tend to let their dogs run off leash and a new board walk that takes you to the bridge to cross the river.
Nice little spot by the water. Small playground for the kids, also a short waterfront pathway to stroll down. There is actually a man made beach down there too, next to the oval. Enough parking for 20 or do cars.
Absolutely OUTSTANDING park and spot. It has everything you need and is just a gorgeous space; big carpark, excellent kids play land, huge green park all along the water front, with a walking bridge that goes over the water, large restrooms, a balcony style jetty, with stairs down into the water, a sand bank along the water, table and chairs area, and even 2 hall spaces! All around stunning and beautiful walk way along the water front! I love everything about this park it is brilliant! Highly reccomend this place.
This park has been improved recently with the addition of a boardwalk. The kids playground is good and there is a small beached area by the river which has been recently improved. Launch a kayak into the river, play at the park with the kids or have a kick about on the footie pitch. Beware there are often dogs off leash in this area
Absolutely gorgeous place. It's a hidden gem in the Shire. On a nice calm sunny day, the views are unbelievably amazing! A nice spot for picnics or kids to play around. You can also hire a kayak from a local Cafe and explore the river's beauty.
