Barden Ridge Reserve is a top-rated dog-friendly park where dogs are welcome on lead. You'll find shaded space, parking, and toilets nearby. Some conditions apply, so it's worth checking the rules before you visit.
Dogs permitted on-leash under Sutherland Shire Council default policy (Companion Animals Act 1998). Not listed in the council's designated off-leash areas. Outside NPWS jurisdiction.
It’s a half fence, not a full fence. I wish this playground had a high, fully enclosed fence. It turns out the full high fence is only at the front, which is quite silly. This playground is suitable for young children who are content playing next to their parents, but it is not suitable for hyperactive or neurodivergent children (ADHD/autism) who may elope. For my son, this place is very easy to escape from, especially from the side areas of the playground.
Great park with a variety of activities and very accessible. No BBQs, toilets, or parking sadly.

I come here almost every day for my son. Highly recommend. The locals are friendly and the park is a great size.
Small but new playground, my 3 year old loved it. Astroturf on ground so good for younger ones crawling or toddling
