Holiday Haven Culburra Beach is a well-regarded dog-friendly park. You'll find BBQs and toilets nearby.
We stayed here for 5 nights and New Year’s Eve and want to give full credit to the cleaner, who did an amazing job in very difficult circumstances. The cleaner always had a smile on his face and was friendly, polite, and happy, even while dealing with situations no one should have too. The men’s toilets were absolutely disgusting and this was nearly every day there was vomit left on a couch, which is completely unacceptable behaviour. It was shocking enough that we actually left early and will not be back! Despite this, the cleaner worked incredibly hard and handled it all extremely well. The barbecues were always spotless, which really shows the effort put in. The park itself is in a beautiful location right on the beach, has great facilities, which makes this situation even more disappointing. This cleaner deserves a pay rise for having to clean up after such disgusting, careless behaviour. A genuine credit to the park especially considering just how revolting some guests were.
Family Christmas... cabins clean, staff friendly and helpful. Rooms reduced one star as bunk in our cabin suitable for smaller children, not teenagers. Other family members in other cabins... one had bath, another a washing machine, another a large deck. If you need internet for work, not best place to be. Beach on one side, with lifeguards (at Christmas), river on other. Pool, mini putt putt golf, jumping castle, walk to old lighthouse.
Just spent 3 nights on a powered site with our puppies. Sites are a great size and in good condition. Bathrooms were in clean excellent condition. Staff were helpful and polite and we were even offered a late check out. We will 💯 be back.
Clean and tidy sites with plenty of amenities/facilites and great proximity to a nice surf/fishing beach and estuary with boat ramps and jetty nearby. Great customer service from the team at checkin. Another positive experience in a Holiday Haven park, thanks team.
Such a hidden gem! Went to see the lighthouse but ended up at Crook haven headland beach which was beautiful and raw with an instagram worthy aesthetic. It felt a bit scary at first because there was literally no one else except for us as it's such a secluded place but after half an hour we found a couple so that was a relief! The place has rocky shores & amazing views. There were plenty of big wooden teepee structures which I found had a mystic vibe probably made by locals for fun!
We check council regulations, official sources, and community reviews to verify dog access at every venue. Access may change — always check on-site signage. Something wrong or missing? Submit feedback. How it works.
