What people say
Crookhaven Beach is patrolled int the summer holidays. You will need to check that re Covid rules. The beach between Tilbury Cove And Crookhaven is off lead for dogs at certain times in summer. 4pm to 8am. You may need to check that also. There is a caravan park adjacent to the beach at Crookhaven. Be aware there are those that disobey the off lead rules for dogs and ignore their dogs behaviour and doings. You need to be able to control your dogs. Unfortunately too many holiday makers don't obey the rules and locals know who is a tourist and you is a tourist. Also dont litter our beaches. Don't drive like you do in Sydney. Relax for your sake and ours.
Photo is Crookhaven River, near boat ramp. Clean. Grandson enjoyed fishing.
Access to the beach is through steps. A bit steeper steps.Nice beach view with moderate waves.
An unexpectedly lovely place to watch the sunset. Pelicans, fishermen, little boats and some moments peace and quiet.
Relaxed. Easy and Convenient. Great surf, cafes and fishing.
