The iced coffees were more like an extra sweet milkshake, with some syrup at the bottom. First time I’ve not finished an ‘iced coffee’ when out somewhere. Saddest smashed avo situation I’ve ever seen, edible but nothing more. Small amount of avo, tiny bit of feta, one grape tomato, and a well done poached egg. Surrounded by spinach leaves. The omelette was heavy and way too buttery, and took a very long time to arrive after the smashed avos. There are much better spots for brunch in Culburra.
I can not speak more highly towards Shane , one of your team. I have only been in town for around 10 days but he has been remarkably hospitable on so many levels. You know what I mean Shane, but what an outstanding team member . Great hot chocolate too and the only one in the area that I can find with a jumbo size - which I love - keep up the great work Benny's !!!
Third time here , purely because nothing else was open. Forgot part of our order . Waited 1 hour and 15 minutes for food . Cafe only half full with four staff on. I was hoping things had changed but sadly not . Same excuses given as last time and they are still running to Woolworths for supplies ! Shame , as food is adequate and they are lovely people . Great business opportunity going begging.
My husband and I ordered breakfast and drinks. Waited 30 minutes for coffee which was the wrong size but replaced pleasantly. We then waited another 20 minutes for our order. 0ther patrons were also waiting for roughly the same amount of time with some going to the counter to enquire about their order. The Cafe had 6 tables of customers (not busy) all waiting, however the staff didn't move with a sense of urgency. The young waitress was apologetic for the delay. A pleasant place to have a meal as long as you have all the time in the world.
Waited 45mins for a few rolls, toastie and Carmel slice, no update about the wait when I asked no apologies, Carmel slice I had to ask for repeatedly. When is came out the bread was squashed to a dry waifer and difficult to eat is was so dry. Staff has no customer service skills at all Was 1 customer before us and only 5 tables taken in that 45mins. Ordered 9:55 didn’t get food till 10:45
