We had a beautiful picnic here with our cavoodle. Eating our lunch and just looking out at the water. There is a really nice park for the kids as well.
New playground with shallow water to splash /wade in. Great location for kayak/stand up paddle board. Some seating area and one bbq area. Toilets are available but a couple of minutes walk away. Would give this place 5 stars if there's close access to coffee and toilets next to the playground.
Really nice spot down by the water but can get windy so take a jacket or jumper. Great slides and plenty of equipment for the kids to play Park is close to the road but road usually isn't busy
