The Coffee Roaster

Would have to be in Top 3 in Sydney for taste. It’s been my #1 for a while now. Cant go past their House blend. Smooth and making you want a 2nd. Only place I’ve come across that said yes to serving with cream. Big tick. Owner and roaster alike very nice people.

Besides that you could make your own blend of coffee the food here is awesome. I had the eggs benedict with salmon.. Good portion sizing as you can see. One of my go to places in sydney.

An amazing spot to roast your own coffee! I visited to do the 30 minute “roast your own coffee” experience. I arrived and was immediately offered a coffee and a sample of a filter they had brewed, which was a great way to start. The experience was really good, and Carter was an excellent host. He took me through a bunch of the process, answered my questions, and adjusted the whole thing based on my own experience. At the end he helped me make up a blend and roast it fresh. Honestly, to get 30 minutes of hands-on time, a free coffee, and 1kg of beans… this is incredible value for money! My wife and kids also had a coffee while they waited. The decaf was exceptionally good, and the staff were so friendly and good with the kids. All in all, this is an amazing spot. I’d return for the coffee roasting or just for a good coffee!

First time visiting a coffee shop in sydney and it was great! Met my old coworker here. They have a huge roaster as i can see next to the counter and good service as well. I love the affogato and cheesecake! Perfect spot for a quick chat and coffee. Highly recommend.

We were looking for a nice coffee to kick start our long weekend. Decided to walk into The Coffee Roaster where we were greeted by Christian and he was very kind to explain to us the products on offer. He recommended both the fresh brew (Tanzania - which rotates each week) and the Nitro cold brew which he also let myself and my partner to try. We were very impressed with his level of knowledge and detail, definitely a good customer experience from start to finish. We ended up getting a fresh brew and a iced coffee based on the explanation and will definitely be back in the future for other coffee blends to try! Keep up the great work and really thankful for the fantastic start to our weekend morning.
