just around the corner of green square station easy to locate. this place serves a good thai-viet fusion. it was a cold and rainy summer day so we had the tomyam mama noodle soup which was warm and hearty. will be back!
The crispy chicken and sizzling seafood here is really great, both fresh and delicious. The sizzling seafood contains variety kinds of seafood and vegetables, making it health and still tastes great. The experience is even better with the kind service from Med.
I had a great meal at Nam2. The fried chicken rice was crispy, juicy, and comforting, and the sticky rice cooked in bamboo was warm, fragrant, and a real highlight. Everything tasted fresh and well balanced. The service was excellent too — our waiter Med was super friendly and welcoming, which made the experience even better. A lovely spot for tasty Southeast Asian food and warm hospitality.
Don't come here if you are looking for Thai food. Its more 'thai inspired'. All the food was sweet. We had the caramelised pork belly, tom yum fried rice (which was lacking in tom yum and fish sauce flavour, no umami, no lemongrass, no galangal. Might as well buy Penta tom yum paste at the store and mix it with rice) bbq pork, and the crispy mama noodle salad - wasnt really sure what i was expecting with this dish but it was literally a crushed instant noodle packet with pork, herbs sprinkled on top and a surprise sauce packet (look at photo). Food came out quick though.
Nam2 has both flavour & good vibes. Check out the photos ha ha. Chef Tom clearly knows how to throw a party on a plate and cooks like he’s feeding friends, not customers, and that makes all the difference. ❤️
