Hunter's Corner

Honestly one of my favourite cafés in Sydney. Location: The café is located in Redfern, around a 10-minute walk from Redfern Station, which makes it super easy to reach by train. While Redfern might not be considered the prettiest area in Sydney, this café sits on a really lovely and calm corner without too much noise or traffic around it. Atmosphere & Design: What truly makes this place special is the atmosphere. The interior is beautifully designed — cozy, aesthetic, warm and full of plants, creating a very welcoming feeling the moment you walk in. It’s the kind of café where you instantly feel comfortable and want to stay longer. There’s also outdoor seating, which is perfect on sunny days. Service: The service is consistently good, but Weda deserves a special mention. He’s an incredibly kind and talented barista who brings so much energy and personality to the café. Honestly, it almost feels like the café was made for him — or maybe the other way around. People like him are what give places real character. Food & Drinks: The coffee is excellent. But the highlight is definitely the food. I’ve tried almost everything on the menu by now, and overall the quality has always been very high. Portion sizes are fair, more than enough to satisfy you — although my friend and I often ended up ordering something extra to share because everything sounded too good not to try. Afterwards, we were definitely full. My personal favourites are the Smashed Avo on Rye, Eggs Benny, the Short Stack Pancakes and the wraps. That said, I genuinely don’t think there was anything on the menu that disappointed. Price / Value: The prices feel fair for the quality, atmosphere and service you receive. For a genuinely great breakfast experience and people who clearly care about what they do, it’s absolutely worth it. Overall: You can tell that a lot of love and passion goes into this place, and I can wholeheartedly recommend it.

I love the affogato, nice environment with a great great Staff! Love Jessica, she serves us so friendly and nice.. 🥰🥰 Blueberry Pancakes is better than pancake on the rocks (in my opinion). Will be back soon!! 👍❤️

Stopped to have only a coffee (affogato) with my friend, but it was delicious, the coffee had a beautiful almond note.

I was really pleased with the service with the quality of the Coffee and the healthy bowl and just generally the environment it’s really nice place to catch up with a friend.

Great experience at Hunter Corner in Sydney! The atmosphere was really nice and the service was excellent. A big thank you to the waitresses Fifi and Victoire,they were super friendly, attentive, and professional. They really made our visit enjoyable. Highly recommended!
