Kangaroo Valley Glenmack Park is a well-regarded dog-friendly park where dogs are welcome on lead. You'll find toilets nearby, while The Friendly Inn Hotel is around 500 metres away for an easy post-walk drink.
Dogs are welcome on-leash at Kangaroo Valley Glenmack Park, a Shoalhaven City Council park. Under the NSW Companion Animals Act 1998, dogs must be kept on a lead and under effective control in public places throughout the Shoalhaven, except in Council's designated off-leash areas. Dogs are prohibited within 10 metres of children's play equipment and food preparation areas.
Great spot for camping - first come first serve in the field areas. Really nice, big and quality toilet / shower block. Walk to town, 5 min drive to swim in river. Big pool on site (definitely not heated!). Kids loved jumping pillow and horses, pony’s, lamas etc just across the fence.
Stayed for a couple of days last week, and was that impressed we will be back later in the year, clean, neat and very friendly.
Very nice park with great amenities. Lush green grass in a great location. Staff were very friendly
This is a great park if you're after an unpowered site! Very reasonably priced. Spectacular scenery in a beautiful little town and fabulous amenities (camp kitchen, pool, etc). Look forward to coming back!
We had planned to camp, but had to change plans last minute so decided to stay in one of the cabins instead. Cabin was well kept and had what we needed. Great pool, jumping pillow, park and mini golf to occupy the little ones. Great spot for watching all the birds around, particularly in the morning & late afternoon.
We check council regulations, official sources, and community reviews to verify dog access at every venue. Access may change — always check on-site signage. Something wrong or missing? Submit feedback. How it works.
