The General Cafe is a dog-friendly cafe in Kangaroo Valley with outdoor space. Around 250 metres away, Osborne Park Kangaroo Valley Showground is also a great nearby park for a walk with your dog.
Real gem. We came here on Monday morning and it was fairly busy, so it was a little bit of a wait for the food, but, boy, it was worth it. We had Tartine and french toast with bacon and banana. Both full of flavour, delicious. The atmosphere is phenomenal here, friendly service, cozy room with a veranda overlooking the hills around the valley.
This place was great. We had breakfast there and got the french toast and some eggs and it was great. The French toast was so amazing we went back and had it again on another day of our holiday. On the second day we also had scones and they were awesome too. Also the coffee and sourdough was great, plus the lamingtons to take home are especially good. When in kangaroo valley absolutely go here for breakfast.
You must try the fresh handmade scones!! Me and my partner couldn’t believe how yummy they were, both of us stating that they were the best scones we’ve ever had! The cafe itself is adorable with a little seating area at the back surrounded by nature which was so special. And service was super sweet and welcoming too. Really couldn’t have wanted a better cafe experience 🙌🏼☺️
The best breakfast I have had in a long time. Perfect omelette. Delicious gf toast. Friendly team.
Pretty nice brunch & staff is very friendly. Portions are very generous so good for sharing! While food was overall good, French toast was a bit too sweet and coffee was just average :(
