Visited in early January in peak season and there was only my boyfriend and I and one other party using the BBQ facilities on the other side of the garden. We went there after the beach and had a picnic for our 2 year anniversary and it was beautiful! Nice and quiet and we has a nice stroll around admiring all the local plants. It was so ambient that I could have easily had a nap! Highly recommend for a picnic.
A hidden gem to enjoy Community members have established this lovely garden in the heads and it will provide a place to have a leisurely stroll , enjoy the plants and sculptures. read the info cards too well worth it. Bonus kids playground and bbq across the street
Just a fantastic facility and including playground and bbq facilities. Wonderful collection. So well curated. Loads of seats with beautiful aspects - excellent for meditation or a spot of reading. Says a lot about the community, the volunteers who have created and maintain these gardens
Beautiful spot on south coast adventure. Shoalhaven is stunning, especially in Spring! Highly recommend visiting on next tour down south 🌼
I’ve been coming to shoalhaven heads for 30 years. Never knew the gardens were built here in the early 2000s. It’s beautifully kept with signs about the native use for all the plants. The community has taken a lot of pride in this. Worth a visit.
