Eric Mobbs Reserve is a well-regarded dog-friendly park in Castle Hill where dogs are welcome on lead. You'll find BBQs nearby.
Dogs are welcome on-leash. Under the Companion Animals Act 1998, dogs must be on-leash at all times in all parks and public places in The Hills Shire, except in designated off-leash areas. Dogs must be kept at least 10 metres from children's playgrounds and public BBQs/kiosks, and off sports fields during organised sport.
This reserve is a place of recreation and activities. There are 5 crickets nets to practice and a nice, small playground for kids. There are three fields, each with a cricket pitch. The toilets are not very good and are hard to find but there is plenty of parking. Overall it is a dog-friendly park with a humble playground and many fields for games and sport along with cricket nets which need some repair.
Nice reserve with plenty of playgrounds and fields. There is bushland on the side with nice walking tracks of varying length that mostly follow beside rivers or interesting parts of nature. Parking can sometimes be a bit weird as there are carparks but they seem to be consistently locked.
Three sports fields, play equipment in various spots around the park and bordered by walking paths and Bush walking tracks. There is also an electric BBQ here, although it was very dirty the day I was there. The public toilets were open, clean and had toilet paper and hand wash available.
As a Professional Face Painter in Sydney, I have visited this nice park. Great for children to have a outdoor birthday party.
Excellent place for bushwalking. We walked platypus route and it's relaxing and enjoyable.
We check council regulations, official sources, and community reviews to verify dog access at every venue. Access may change — always check on-site signage. Something wrong or missing? Submit feedback. How it works.
